      |  Following the Darkhaven River eastward, many an adventurer has |
      |  come upon a vast area of glistening water and waves. A casual  |
      |  swim is enjoyed here, though one must be wary of fish and      |
      |  aggressive sharks. It is beneath the lapping waves where the   |
      |  wonders, and dangers, of the Coral Depths truly lurk. The      |
      |  fabled Merfolk have founded a paradise under the sea, pushing  |
      |  back all manners of danger from their wondrous village. Some   |
      |  of the most wise and intelligent scholars of Despair reside in |
      |  Mer Village, teaching the cherished young.                     |

      |  The Merfolk have one common enemy beneath the waves: a sea hag |
      |  who resides in the deepest corner of the dark coral tunnels.   |
      |  Little is known about this hag, yet it is suspected that she   |
      |  is preparing one day to destroy the Merfolk completely...      |
