      |  As the Shattering occurred - the south east corner of the      |
      |  world was consumed with sands. Some areas, formerly well       |
      |  known, were laid waste. The thriving city of New Thalos was    |
      |  buried deep below the sands, with only small traces left       |
      |  behind. Travelers should beware as they travel through the     |
      |  Desert of Despair, as many mysteries still lurk below the deep |
      |  sands.                                                         |
